To spring is to come up or out of something or move forward or upward with vigor. It’s also the season of new beginnings. Spring comes bearing vibrant energy for growth, flourishing, and blooming to take place. Earth becomes more lively after awakening from its winter slumber.
We get to witness the blossoming of nature, but blooming isn’t just for the flowers. It’s for you, too.
There’s always something to learn from nature if you pay attention, especially during transitions and growth spurts. As life unfolds, you will go through many seasons. Some seasons may require you to be still and contemplative, while others may require more movement and transformation.
As we embrace the Spring Equniox on March 20th, we observe the dance between shadow and light, death and life. It occurs when the night and day will share space equally, in balance.
The importance of the spring season is that the daylight will start increasing, so we will experience more light. We can embrace this symbolically as illumination, reminding us that the light will always return to earth. The equinox is the representation of new life and light, new beginnings, path, and seeds growing towards the warmth of the sun.
During your blooming season, try to give yourself the space to expand. It’s okay if you start unsure, the next step isn't always clearly defined. Trust in your inner compass, you have gotten to this exact time moment-here and now. I see you. I feel you. I honor your journey and celebrate your presence.
Here are four ways to water your bloom:
Release.
Release what no longer serves you. If it doesn’t resonate, let it dissipate. Let go of the excess baggage. Allow your load to be lighter.
Cultivate.
Cultivate the proper environment, one that accommodates your bloom. This applies to your external and internal world, from your living space to your mindset and belief system.
Nourish.
Nourish yourself along the way. As you grow and evolve, you will need patience, compassion, and support. Don’t forget to water yourself as you bloom.
Flourish.
Flow into who you are becoming. Your transition can be graceful if you let it be. And even when tide turns, ride the waves until you find a place for respite.
Life can feel so complicated at times! Multiple to-do list, projects, goals, relationships-it can all feel a bit overwhelming. This is a special invitation to return to the basics. Trusting your bloom starts with that You, yep that is it. The call is to return to your unique rhythmic flow and let that tune be heard unapologetically.
Curiosity is the sweet spot for growth, I will meet you there dear ones.
